The new.

So finally this is a new piece... I've been so buy and now summer is almost over, but I can't complain I have all that I need, I'm just hoping that my productivity doesn't start lacking during the year with these two internships I'm about to start. Yay year here I come!

More than just one beautiful face. I just had to draw what I thought or could possibly draw to be the most beautiful feminine face, though idk if this is what I'd call perfect it's not like she's heinous.

So what I've been working on is taking too much time, it's great but quite complex and it will be a shame if it doesn't turn out the way I want it to. So anyway this is something I thought I should do in the meantime, again none of these are very polished pieces they just give you a brief idea and I don't have the time or patience to sit down for hours just about ten minutes or so. I thought this was a clever idea so I made it. I hope quality pieces will be up soon.

While I'm working on my latest piece which is quite a bit more complex than my last, I decided to upload some images of my favorite campaigns by Dolce and Gabbana, or not really my favorite but just a few. I think that their ads are really good at capturing a very desirable magical fantasy land, which is cool, However It's ads like these that do a good job of lowering young people's self esteem- that being said they are still beautiful.

So this is my newest design, which took me a while and I'm not sure if I'm too happy with it. I wanted to do something really interesting but it seems that my creative ability is lacking these past few days. Though it has been lacking, I have several good ideas it's just I need to motivation to actually sit down and shove them onto a piece of paper. This paper is also very difficult to use. My medium so far is pencil on water color paper and pen and it's real tricky. I think for a first timer it's not too bad. Let me know if you have suggestions, message me on fb!

Consume

I think that instead of putting my focus in the creation of someone elses work I'm going to try and focus on my own. I hear/see so many blogs talking about this and talking about that and what skirt is cute and what not, blah blah blah. I could care less because that's all open to opinion and if you want to talk fashion, then talk to me in person baby. The consumer has an interesting role, for me I personally find it to be a bore but for others it may just so happen to float their boat. When you purchase or buy it's kind of an appreciation for another person's/artists work, and now days people really "buy into this" no pun intended- in the way that they think that buy purchasing an item it may make them an individual which is great to an extent but please don't take too much credit. Give the credit to the designer! they made that little piece of heaven that you're wearing. Some people do give that credit, but others...please get a life, face the fact that you are NOT creative, so STOP pretending that you have chance, buy all you want consume all you want but why not do us all a favor and attempt to be an edge pusher. Also a good outfit is worth REPEATING don't think you have to wear something new all the time because it's "trendy to do so"..., that's called being selfish and and not environmently friendly. So that was that and I'm going to be posting new designs every time I have the chance.

Lanvin.

Lanvin is Paris' oldest fashion Haus, it was created by Madame Jeanne Lanvin in the early 1920's and is currently one of the greatest, most inspiring fashion establishments in the world. Currently Lanvin is artistically directed by Alber Elbaz, Moroccan born fashion designer. Alber knows what he is doing, or maybe he doesn't- whatever the case his clothing is nothing other than sincerely tasteful. If you've ever encountered an interview with Elbaz he says that beauty is something that "isn't always perfect", he talks about the importance of feminine figures and how he finds their place is society fascinating. However many lines he comes out with he never ceases to push that edge or come up with some unbelievably creative design.

7 most common human behaviors aka the 7 deadly sins.

Lately I have been thinking about the seven deadly sins. As we all know these "sins" are Pride, Covetousness, Envy, Gluttony (Eating like a pig), Anger, Sloth (being lazy), and Lust. Well there you have it! That just about covers every natural human behavior. These make no sense to me. I know! I know! I'm a strange one. We all know that natural feelings must be repressed.

Hmm, lets start with Pride. I've always thought that pride was a good thing. I'm a firm believer that one should be proud of their accomplishments. I'm proud of so many things. my art, my theater, my opinion, my voice, my home, my family, my infatuation with lady Gaga. I could go on and on.

Covetousness, Hmm. This is difficult too, I hold my possesions so dear to me, and I can't name one person who doesn't. my clothes, my phone, my computer. I covet my family, my friends. my Hindu Idols. Damn.

Envy. I get envious. I'm not gonna lie. How couldn't you envy people? I envy people's looks, their talent, where they are and what they are doing. It's something we ALL do. Even God is said to be an "Envious" God, and look at the Greek Gods! They're just a Mess!

Gluttony, Oh my goodness don't even get me started. We are the fatest nation on earth. We really take the cake in this department, and couldn't be happier in doing so. Bam! that cake would be gone in a heart beat. I could spend hours complaining about how this country eats their feelings. But alas we blame it on genetics. C'mon guys it's obviously manifest destiny!

Anger. What angers me more than anything is what I call a floating opinion. A stupid spout of nonsensical word vomit. Ex "Evolution is a hoax." or "abortion is a sin!" "Being a homosexual is a choice!" My reply :"What... like being fat?". Nonetheless the opinion or statement just floats there... hanging in the wind like a useless dead monkey dangling from a tree, and FYI that monkey is a fellow ancestor so I expect some tears over that one peoples.

Sloth, I'm a sloth! who doesn't get lazy? If humans weren't lazy we wouldn't allow pews in the Church. C'mon you can stand for Jesus! But no, we have them so we can sit and pretend to be paying attention.

Lust, this one cracks me up. Idk how you can argue this one folks. This is the naturalist of natural. Without lust you wouldn't be reading this my friend. If you think otherwise I'll be sorry to inform you but the virgin Mary only happened once.
